The Seven Secret Chambers: Frightening Smile from Koei for Dreamcast is the sequel to a popular horror/action game on the Saturn and PSX. Unlike its predecessor, the action is in real time and supports 2 players simultaneous play.

The story takes place at the end of the century, on an island called New Raschel. A special surgery laboratory is on this island and a doctor has mysteriously disappeared from the lab. His daughter has come to investigate his dissapearance and brought along her boyfriend for support.

When the game starts (1P or 2P), both character will be separated right away. They will have to explore different places, encountering different events and horrorible half human/half monster creatures. A new "Pair Combination System" is used in the game to make cooperative play possible.
