Gaming Age has put up a new MPEG movie of the upcoming DC version of Namco's Soul Caliber. The game is only 30% complete and already looks better than its arcade counterpart. Check it out here.
At a recent Electronics Information Communication Conference held in Japan, Sega Enterprises president Shoichiro Irimajiri spoke about the DC's future as an expandable console. He stated that the next version of the Dreamcast hardware would contain a DVD drive. It was not confirmed if this would be a peripheral device or a built in device in a new line of manufactured hardware. He also spoke about the DC hard drive and the possibility of a ZIP drive peripheral to expand the DC's online capabilities. Thanks to Gamefan Online.
The sequel to Activivsion's Vigilante 8 will be coming to the DC. Titled Vigilante 8: Second Offense, it should reach the DC shortly after the December release of the PSX and N64 versions. Thanks to Magic Box Gaming News.
