Sega has delayed the release of the DC conversion of their Model 3 fishing game, Get Bass, from February to April 1st. Konami has delayed the release of their upcoming DC and Playstation title, Pop 'n' Music, from February 25th to April 1st. Hudson has delayed the release of the dating sim, White Illumination, from February to mid-March.Compile has announced their second DC title after Puyo Puyo. The game is an online network RPG/Novel named Teenage Girl R, based on the Manga of the same name. Each player in the network will take on a character in the manga and control their actions. A release is set for Fall of 1999. While this game will never come here, it is certainly an interesting use of the DC's online capabilities. Sonic Team is working on their next DC title, a sequel to their unique Saturn game Nights. The game will not be called Nights 2 because of an awkward pronunciation in Japanese that sounds like "poor sequel". The sequel will feature fully 3D game play in the likely mind-blowing 3D polygonal environments. There will be two packages for the March 18th release of House of the Dead 2 on the DC. One will have just the game while the other will come with the DC light gun. |
