The graphically groundbreaking title Outcast has long been assumed to be coming to the Dreamcast. With the easy portability of PC games and the power of the DC, it would be foolish not to bring the game to the console market. At a chat with fans at Outcast Central, product manager Olivier Masclef made it official;

"Yes, it's true [Outcast is coming to Dreamcast]. You can expect it at the Dreamcast launch in Europe in Fall '99. It will be different from the PC version for many reasons and in many aspects due to the difference of platform but I think we will manage to keep the quality of the original Outcast."
