D2 Shock, the demo disc that will ship with Warp's Real Sound game, is a way of thanking fans for putting up with D2's delays. Originally planned for the Matsushita M2 console which turned out to be vaporware, the game will finally appear on the DC in the third quarter of this year.

There will be two play modes on the demo disc. One is a fight against the game's first boss and the other is a snowmobile mini-game. You can roam freely on the snowmobile or race in a time trial mode. Each time the time trial is finished you receive a score and a password. If you enter these on Warp's homepage, you will be registered on a ranking system to find out how you fare against the rest of the world.
