Koei is proving to be one of the strongest Dreamcast developers. With three of their games already coming to the DC in March, another game has been announced that is quite a departure for them. Koei is mainly known for their historical war simulation games like Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Nobunga's Ambition. This new title is a jump into the 3D adventure genre, and hopefully it will be as great as their previous leaps into the fighing game genre with Dynasty Warriors and Destrega on the PSX.

It is a two player adventure game, with no title yet, that takes quite a different approach. You can control either a male or female player, and both characters can play at the same time through a split-screen. Both players can explore as they choose and are able to call on each other for help. It should take coordinated cooperative gameplay to new levels.

The world you explore is created by character designer Keiiji Kataoka, and it looks quite disturbing. This game may possibly fit into the now very popular horror genre that was spawned by Biohazard.

The game is due this summer for 6800 yen.
